The Power Of Prayer

MOSES prayed, his prayer did save, a nation from death and from the grave. (Ex. 3:2:14)

JOSHUA prayed, the sun stood still; his enemies fell in vale and hill. (Josh 10:12)

HANNAH prayed; God gave her a son; a nation back to the Lord she won. (1 Sam. 1:7)

SOLOMON prayed for wisdom; then God made him the wisest of mortal men. (1 Kings 3:12, 10:24)

ELIJAH prayed with great desire; God gave him rain and sent a fire. (1 Kings 18:37)

ELISSHA prayed with a strong emotion; he got the mantle, with a "double portion." (2 Kings 2:9)

When CHRISTIANS pray, as they prayed of yore, God will save sinners as He has before. (1 Cor. 7:14, Acts 4:4,13)

Three HEBREWS prayed; thru flames they trod; they had as a comrade the Son of God. (Dan 3:20)

DANIEL prayed; the lion's claws; were held by the Angel, who locked their jaws. (Dan. 6:10)

JONAH prayed‚ God heard his wail; and quickly delivered him from the whale. (Jonah 2:1-10)

Ten LEPERS prayed, to the priests were sent; Glory to God! They were healed as they went! (Luke 17:12)

The THIEF who prays; for mercies cries, he goes with Christ to Paradise. (Luke 23:42,43)
