The Blessing Of Acceptance:
This is expressed by such terms as:
1. Redeemed (Rom. 3:24).
2. Reconciled (2 Cor. 5:19-21).
3. Forgiven (Rom. 3:25).
4. Delivered (Col. 1:13).
5. Accepted (Eph. 1:6).
6. Justified (Rom. 3:24).
7. Glorified (Rom. 8:30).
The Blessing of Position.
The Christians position is:
1. Citizen of heaven (Phil. 3:20)
2. Member of a holy and royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:5,9)
3. Member of the family of God (Eph. 2:19).
4. Adopted (Galatians 4:5).
5. Member of a peculiar people (1 Peter 2:9).
The Blessing of an Inheritance.
The Child of God.
1. Is complete in Christ (Colossians 2:9-10).
2. Possesses every spiritual blessings (Ephesians (1:3).
3. Is an heir of heaven (1 Peter 1:4).
The Blessing of Enablement.
Enablement is assured because the believer is:
1. Under grace (Romans 6:14).
2. Freed from the law (2 Cor. 3:6-13).
3. Indwelt by the Persons of the Godhead (Gal. 2:20; 1 Cor. 6:19).
Assurance:
Romans 8:16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Romans 8: 38-39 for I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
